The European Union (EU) funded Turkey Resilience Project in Response to the Syria Crisis (TRP) – Adult Language Training (ALT) is implemented with the cooperation of Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Lifelong Learning (DGLLL) and the United Nations Development Programme.

Within the scope of ALT, it is aimed to increase the Turkish language skills of 52 000 adult Syrians under Temporary Protection through Public Education Centers (PECs) in 10 provinces (Adana, Bursa, Gaziantep, Hatay, Istanbul, Izmir, Kilis, Konya, Mersin and Sanliurfa).

With ALT, it is aimed to facilitate participation in economic life and to contribute to living in harmony with the host community for Syrians over 18 years old.

The Turkish language trainings are organized in accordance with the four basic language skills of the European Language Portfolio – reading, listening, speaking and writing – in a way that Syrians under Temporary Protection will acquire the language skills they will need to support their participation in economic and social life.

In the courses to be opened within the scope of the ALT, blended training method will be applied for the first time in Turkey.

The blended training method briefly provides a combination of face-to-face training and distance learning, enabling the transfer of educational content more effectively.

The participants will receive cash support based on the hours they attend the trainings.
Support payments will be made through KIZILAYKART.
